Toddler Program

In their quest for independence, toddlers are developing new skills such as walking, talking, and exploring their environment. Their sense of discovery is encouraged while developing language skills through investigative, meaningful learning experiences.

The toddler program emphasis is on a more unified classroom schedule. Toddlers staff members ensure that for toddlers to feel more comfortable, happy, safe and secure the require consistenstencuy on a day to day basis. Staff members set age appropriate classroom schedules with the learning curriculum starting each morning at 9:00 a.m. The toddlers will follow routines and quickly acclimate to daily schedule.

The Creative Curriculum for Infants and toddlers serves as a framework for planning and implementing a high-quality program. Based on monthly theme, staff members plan age appropriate activities that allow hands on experiences for toddlers. Some of the activities used in the classroom includes story time books, art activities, water play, and outdoor experiences, and music. In addition, toddlers will learn about body awareness, elf concept, increase language skills along with pre-academic skills such as number recognition, letters, and the world around them.
